Digital Credit Union is based in Marlborough, Massachusetts. Aside from being the largest credit union in the state, it is also the 24th largest credit union in the country. It was established in 1979.

Digital Credit Union’s CD rates are 51% higher than the countrywide average, and it has a 4-star health rating. DCU’s 1-year CD has an advantage with its add-on feature. DCU’s 5-year CD relationship rate is also on top for 5-year CD rate that’s nationally available
The best offers from their Regular Savings CD Accounts are at 2.76% APY on a 60-Month CD and at 1.25% APY on a 12 – 23 Month CD. These require a minimum deposit of only $500.

On the other hand, the best deals from their Jumbo Savings CD Accounts are at 2.86% APY on a Jumbo 60 Month CD and at 1.36% APY on a Jumbo 12 – 23 Month CD (Add-On). While most banks require you to deposit up to $100,000 to open a Jumbo CD, these merely require only a $25,000 minimum deposit and a Relationship Checking relationship.

Their CD rates are listed in the certificate rates page at their website (www.dcu.org) as of October 20, 2011.
Being part of their shared branch network, Digital Credit Union has nineteen full-service branches in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, although it has members in all 50 U.S. states.

You can open your Regular CD or Jumbo CD savings account in minutes at any branch, by mail, or by calling the Information Center at 508-263-6700 or 800-328-8797, weekdays from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm and Saturdays from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, Eastern time.
